Since 1901, the NAMM Show has been the most important gathering of musical products in the world. It is held every year in Anaheim, California (USA) in January, at the extraordinary Anaheim Convention Center. It is a meeting for professionals aimed at national and international distributors of musical products. This year 2025 will be held from January 21 to 25 (Events: January 21-25, Exhibitions: January 23-25) with the participation of more than 3,500 brands.

The acronym NAMM stands for the National Association of Music Merchants, a non-profit organization, created in 1901 under the name of Rhe National Piano Dealers of America. Each January, NAMM hosts the NAMM Show, an event that unites the music, sound , and tech entertainment communities.

NAMM has grown from a national retail association to an international association whose members now include trading companies, distributors, affiliates, and manufacturers.

To assess the importance of this event, it is enough to highlight the following data: more than 115,000 attendees from 130 countries, more than 11 billion USD of purchasing power (2020 data). Although the Covid 19 virus pandemic reduced these figures in 2022, in 2023 and 2024 there has been a clear recovery, predicting spectacular figures for 2025. Another program of the association is the Summer NAMM, which is held in June in Nashville, Tennessee, at the Nashville Convention Center. NAMM also has the NAMM Foundation, which provides scholarships for musical training.
