The Paris 2024 Olympic Games<\/a>,<\/b>Games of the XXXIII Olympiad<\/b>, will take place between July 26 and August 11, 2024 in the city of Paris<\/a>, France<\/a>. The French capital officially presented its candidacy on June 23, 2015. It will be, along with London,<\/a> the only city to host the Olympic Games<\/strong> three times<\/strong>, after 1900<\/strong> and 1924<\/strong>, and these Olympic Games<\/strong> will mark the centenary of the last ones held on Parisian soil.<\/p>\n The Olympic Games<\/b>, <\/span>Olympics<\/b> or Olympics,<\/b><\/sup> are the largest multidisciplinary international sporting event in which athletes from various parts of the world participate. They are considered the main competition in the sports world, with more than two hundred participating nations. There are two types: the Summer Olympics<\/a> and the Winter Olympics<\/a>, which are held with an interval of two years<\/strong>, according to the Olympic Charter<\/a>: “The Games of the Olympiad are held during the first year of an Olympiad and the Winter Olympics during their third year.”<\/em><\/sup><\/p>\n The modern Olympic Games<\/strong> were inspired by the Olympic Games of antiquity<\/strong> (eighth century BC), organized in ancient Greece with headquarters in the city of Olympia<\/a>, held between 776 BC and 776 BC. and 393 A.D. Paris 2024<\/strong> will also be the first Olympic and Paralympic Games<\/strong> in history with full gender parity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n In these Olympic Games<\/strong> , new sports and categories are incorporated:<\/p>\n The disciplines that were incorporated in Tokyo 2020<\/strong> are consolidated: Sport climbing<\/strong>, Skateboarding<\/strong>, BMX<\/strong> and 3×3 Basketball<\/strong>.<\/p>\n There will be a total of 35 venues<\/strong>, spread over 14 locations <\/strong>that will host 24 sports<\/strong> and will be located less than 10 km from the Olympic village<\/strong>. Other regions such as Bordeaux<\/strong>, Nantes<\/strong>, Lyon<\/strong>, Saint-Etienne<\/strong>, Nice<\/strong> and Marseille<\/strong> will host events related to disciplines such as football.
